{"id":52504,"date":"2020-12-28T23:36:44","date_gmt":"2020-12-28T23:36:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadiantreefund.org\/?p=52504"},"modified":"2020-12-28T23:51:07","modified_gmt":"2020-12-28T23:51:07","slug":"canadian-tree-fund-celebrates-25-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadiantreefund.org\/fr\/canadian-tree-fund-celebrates-25-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Canadian TREE Fund Celebrates 25 Years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a year where social norms and regular events have been upended and adjusted to meet new regulations, it is more important than ever that charity organizations stick together and volunteers continue their essential work that benefits many communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Canadian TREE Fund&#8217;s sister organization, The TREE Fund based out of the United States, is one of those organizations we are so thankful to be connected with. We are bound by our love of trees and our passion for advancing the tree care industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recently received this lovely letter from them celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Thanks Russell, members and board members (past and present) and all of our Tour des Trees family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Scientific research and education evoke, from me, a sense of awe. We are how we best discern how best we may live and work, and how we see our place in the intricate beauty and subtlety of life and the passing of the ages. Practical and poetic; serviceable and spiritual. In my awe, I am moved to embrace and encourage the seeing and sharing of science\u2014and the science of trees in particular.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>For those who work and live among the trees, science is essential to both safety and success. That fact compelled me to stand and applaud, with respect and gratitude, the Canadian TREE Fund on its 25<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary on Nov 13, 2020.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Canadian TREE Fund and its family of volunteers have been incomparable icons of what is most admirable in our species. I\u2019m celebrating 25 years as a non-profit executive and that experience allows me to say that what the Canadian TREE Fund volunteers have accomplished isn\u2019t simply vital to the tree care industry and important to all of us who love trees, it\u2019s inspirational.
