- The objective of this bursary is to provide financial assistance to a student(s) pursuing a career in arboriculture and to promote a greater awareness of arboriculture.
- The individual must be enrolled in a college or university program related to arboriculture, forestry or horticulture.
- Bursary recipient(s) will be given a cheque in the amount of up to $1,000 per year with the amount decided upon annually depending upon availability of funds.
- The bursary will be presented (when a worthy recipient exists as deemed by the award committee) at the February International Society of Arboriculture Ontario Chapter Conference.
- NOTE: Applicants can apply either to the Harold Van Dyke Bursary or to the Jerry Micsinszki Arborist Apprenticeship Bursary but not both.
