Overview

The Canadian TREE Fund (CTF) is a registered charitable organization that was established in 1995, in affiliation with the Ontario Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, to promote and help fund arboricultural research in Canada. Our mission is to identify significant environmental, biological, social and economic needs related to tree genetics, management and care and provide funding for innovative basic/applied research and education.

Did you know the Canadian TREE Fund turned 25 years old in 2020? That’s right. Since it’s conception in 1995, the Canadian TREE Fund has funded 100 different research and action projects across Canada so that more Canadians are able to enjoy all the benefits that trees provide. Many individuals have worked tirelessly over the years to achieve this milestone and their legacies live on in the impact the projects supported by the CTF have had on the Arboriculture industry.
