The Wenda Li Ontario Tree Climbing Championship Bursary is intended to inspire and incentivize first-time women competitors to participate in the Championship.
ISA Ontario advises the Canadian TREE Fund of the registered participants who are eligible. The CTF reaches out to each with an introductory letter, explaining that a $400 Bursary is available upon replying and answering 4 basic background questions. Then CTF ranks the applicants’ answers. Wenda Li will attend the OTCC to ensure prospective recipients complete all 5 of the challenges. The highest ranked applicant who completes the 5 disciplines will be awarded the $400 at the end of the OTCC!
